Metro, its staff, and the SW Corridor Steering Committee after years of analysis and stakeholder involvement have made a recommendation on the mode for high capacity transit for the SW Corridor and it is light rail. Per a recent charter amendment, Tigard voters must vote to approve the City of Tigard to continue the conversation on light rail and participate in planning discussions with the rest of the SW Corridor region. The best source for information regarding what the vote is or is not about is the FAQ page at this link, http://yesfortigard.com/
